How do I reserve a bike?

You can reserve a bike online through our website, by email or by calling our shop directly. We recommend making reservations in advance, especially during peak seasons.

What is included in the price?

Helmets, locks, our breakdown service and route planning are included. You can add panniers, rack packs, lights and phone holders for a small charge

Is there a minimum age requirement for renting an e-bike? Yes, You must be over the age of 14 to ride an e-bike.

Can I hire a bike for half a day?

Our bike hire price is based on a full day, 9am-5pm.

Do you offer discounts for large group rentals or long-term rentals?

For groups over 8, please enquire with our staff for more information.

How do I know which size bike to choose?

Our size guide on the booking page will help you find the right bike for your height.

I’ve rented a bike for one day and I’m having such a good time, I would like to keep the bike for longer. Can I do that?

For a small charge, we offer an overnight extension which allows you to keep your bike until 9am the following morning. This can be added to your cart. (Please note: this does not apply to e-Bikes)

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash (£), credit/debit cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

What happens if I get a puncture or have another problem with the bike?

We have a breakdown service between 9am-5pm, 7 days a week. If you have problems with your bike, please call +44 7829 893 033 and we will come to you.

Are the bikes insured?

We have indemnity insurance and the bikes are insured from theft, but customers can have personal insurance as well.

Can I take my bike off island?

Our bikes are for on island use only.

Do you offer bike delivery or pickup services?

Yes, we offer a drop-off and pick-up services for an additional fee.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations up to 7 days prior to the first rental day: Full refund. Cancellations 7 days up to the first rental day: Option to reschedule booking free of charge, otherwise a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Same day cancellations, no refund. The cancellation period does not include the first rental day.

e-Bike

How long will my e-bike battery last?

The batteries are charged every night to full. A full charge, with mixed mode usage will allow you to ride around the island.

If I book the e-bike for more than one day, will I be given a charger?

Yes, you will be given a charger and instructions on how to remove and charge your e-bike overnight.

Jersey

Are the roads safe?

Jersey has plenty of bike friendly routes for you to ride on. These are a mix of 15mph green lanes, cycle paths and quiet roads.

How will I know the way on each route?

Routes are numbered 1-10. There are blue signs along the routes showing the route number and the direction you are heading (based on landmarks)

How many miles/ kms to ride around the island?

There are 96 miles of signposted routes. The round the island route is approximately 40 miles

How many hours will it take to ride around the island?

By e-Bike, it will take approx 4 - 5 hours

By normal bike, it will take approx 5.5 - 6.5 hours

Luggage

I’m hiring a bike and I have a small suitcase / sports bag. Is there any way that I can carry my suitcase on the bike?

Yes, you can rent a trailer.

Can I leave my luggage with you for the day?

Yes. We have luggage storage for a small charge. The size of the locker is W:66cm x H:89cm x D:60cm
